Dissertation completed!
Yesterday, we celebrated the successful PhD defense of Marie Zubler.
Marie’s research focused on the influence of cognitive biases on IT decisions in the social sector. Papers of her cumulative thesis were nominated for the best paper award at ICIS and have been published in leading journals in our field (e.g., European Journal of Information Systems, Information Systems Journal).
In her defense, Marie dove into the cognitive biases affecting individual decision-making on technology adoption and on non-rational behaviors in IT-Governance decision-making.
We are very grateful to Marie for the journey we had together over the last few years and to Frederik Ahlemann and Hannes Rothe for serving on the committee.
We wish Marie all the best for her future and look forward to many different collaborations.
