Jannis Nacke has been a research associate and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Information Systems and Transformation Management at the University of Duisburg-Essen under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ralf Plattfaut since July 2024. Previously, he successfully completed his part-time master's degree in Data Analytics and Management at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.

Since August 2021, Jannis Nacke has been leading the Center of Excellence Celonis at the Enervie Group, focusing on the company-wide rollout of Celonis Process Mining. His professional career at the Enervie Group began after his graduation in Business Administration with Informatics from the University of Applied Sciences South Westphalia in 2021.
