Bio:

About

Siddhi Walzade is a Research Associate in the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen, where she works in the Business Informatics and Transformation Management group under Prof. Dr. Ralf Plattfaut. Her research focuses on AI-driven analysis and automation of business processes, with a particular interest in process mining, robotic process automation, and agentic AI.

She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India, and completed her Master's degree in Engineering and Sustainable Technology Management – Industry 4.0 at SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences. Before joining academia, Siddhi gained industry experience in digital transformation at J.K. Maini Precision Technology Ltd. in India, where she contributed to smart factory initiatives and IIoT integration on the shop floor. She subsequently worked as working student for process automation at SRH Berlin, automating administrative workflows using Microsoft Power Platform.
